We're really pleased to finally announce this feature which is in two main parts - firstly, you can now add an element to your locator which shows whether each store is currently Open or Closed. And secondly, you can also add a button or Filter checkbox to allow customers to see only Stores that are currently open. Here's a quick look at how this all looks and works:
The Open / Closed indicator in each store
You can now add an element to your store Layout which highlights whether the store is currently Open or Closed. This is calculated by comparing the opening hours for the current day for each store and comparing it to the time in the user's timezone (i.e. in their web browser). Of course the style of this element can be customized per your branding requirements. Here's how this looks in action:
Adding a control to your locator to allow customers to see only Open stores
You can also allow customers to toggle the display of either all stores or only Open Stores in your locator. We've added two options for how this is shown: either as an extra toggle button in the address search bar (the top row) or as an additional Filter checkbox item. You can change the wording of the button or Filter label as needed on a per language basis as with all text components of your locator.
