Today we're pleased to announce that we've launched a new feature that's been requested by a number of our customers: Multi-Language support. This allows you to use a single Store Locator account to deploy versions of the store locator in multiple languages.
The major benefit here is if you provide localised versions of your website for different countries, you can use a single Store Locator account and store list to deploy a consistent Store Locator to each version of the website. This means simplified location management as you only have to maintain one store list and reduced costs as you only need a single plan for multiple languages.
Adding a new language to your Store Locator is easy. We’ve created a new Languages menu option which holds all the customisation options for changing text and button elements and a ‘Add Language’ button which can be used to create a new language. To enable your new language on your website, a different embed code is used for each language. You can get the embed code for the new language that you’ve created from the Setup page as usual (http://www.storelocatorwidgets.com/admin/Setup).
